Because the Leak Tester is so sensitive, it can be used after the leak light and feeler gauge as a secondary leak tester. It is also an excellent demonstration tool for your customers. Using the Leak Tester, you can quickly test an entire flute before doing leak work, then test it again after the work is complete. It is also possible to use the Leak Tester to test for leaks in individual pads on flute, wooden instrument bodies, brass tubing or any part of any instrument that can be sealed on both ends.

The MusicMedic.com Leak Tester is a very sensitive leak detection machine for woodwind repair. It will find leaks in any instrument or tubing and is easy to use.

How It Works:

The Magnehelic gauge on the face of the Leak Tester gives a reading that quantifies the amount of air leaking from an instrument. The higher the number, the greater the leakage. Simple but extremely effective.

The Mini Leak Tester has all the capabilities of the larger Leak Tester yet it is an amazing 50% smaller. Technicians with small shops or limited bench space will appreciate the Mini Leak Tester.

Both the MusicMedic.com Leak Tester and the Mini Leak Tester run on DC power and are UL approved. They run on either 120v or 220v power, which is one less power conversion box in the shops of our international customers.

The Mini Machine Plug Caddy is a great addition to the machine to save bench space. The Caddy bolts on using the existing screws in the back of the machine. Just unscrew the top screws carefully, line up the caddy with the exiting holes and re-insert the screws. Be careful not to over tighten the screws! Once you have it installed the Caddy can hold various plug sizes, neck leak isolators and has a space in the back to store your tubing to keep everything organized!
