This tenor has received a complete Uberhaul with full mechanical and cosmetic restorations with extensive modifications. This instrument required some extra body work to restore it after many decades of use, including dent work and re-soldering many of its tone holes. We fabricated a new neck tenon and receiver to give the neck a perfect fit. The left hand pinky table is modified with an extended Low Bb touch-piece and an additional roller on the Low B touch-piece, allowing the player to slide horizontally with ease from Low B to Low Bb. A Teflon ball was added to the octave rocker in order for it to operate quietly and without lost motion. Teflon sleeves were also added to the side keys to eliminate noise. Key contacts were added under the G and side C keys for a solid feel. The Front F key was extended and re-oriented for easy operation, regardless if the player rolls up to the Front F or lifts their finger to press it. Adjustment screws with a slider were added to the F# to G# and F# to Bb connections for reliable and simple set-up adjustments. The key rollers were fit with teflon as needed to reduce noise. This Martin was given our signature satin silver finish with bright highlights and a gold wash bell. It has all new gold needle springs, new pearls, and Black RooPads.

All of our saxophones come with Pad Magic, Ultimax Key Oil, a MusicMedic.com Microfiber Cloth, a MusicMedic.com Swab, and plated horns come with Tarnishield Strips. No mouthpiece included. We recommend purchasing a new sturdy case and can help you find the right one if you would like.

All of our vintage saxophones undergo an Uberhaul, which you can learn more about here . The workmanship on all Uberhauls is guaranteed . All Uberhauled saxophones are eligible for a C.O.A. (Clean Oil and Adjust), which is our yearly service plan that restores instruments to a freshly Uberhauled state, and is also a great time to make further personal adjustments or modifications. Shipping in the lower 48 states is free, but international shipping is also available. We have worked with the postal service to develop the safest possible shipping method so your new saxophone will arrive in excellent condition. Customers are also welcome to come to the Sax ProShop in Wilmington, NC to pick up your new saxophone: take this opportunity to play test your new horn and work briefly with a specialized technician to make some final minor adjustments.
