Maestro Star Airtight Resonators

It is commonly accepted that the increased surface area of the Star resonator increases projection while decreasing resistance. Maestro Star Airtight Resos feature the same tested surface as the Star Resos yet offer a level, airtight seal around the circumference of the resonator. The benefits of this design are twofold: First, the increased surface area gives you the same consistent tone, top to bottom as the original design. Second, the even contact with the pad leather allows the resonator to sit perfectly flat on the pad. This solves the problem of air leaking around the edges of the resonator. Technicians like these resonators because they hold the leather of the pad tight, unlike the traditional design that presses on the pad leather and felt unevenly. Even pressure on the pad surface makes installing the pad simple and easy. This alone will improve the tone of the instrument.
